In the state of Maine, you can legally be topless. You just cannot have genitalia exposed. That means, if you’re worried about the beachy boudoir goodness - cut that out! Also, we work in privacy as much as we can! This is private.
If you want that totally naked look, I have my clients bring and wear a stringy thong set; I can edit it out of the picture too easily!
Another big concern I hear is, “well I just have some ‘extra’ I wanna lose first” or “I am insecure about my stretch marks.” ..Girl, who isn’t?
We’re just like you. Having ifferent body shapes don’t mean we’re exempt from the same insecurities.
I’m skilled in photoshop and Lightroom, both incredible tools that I’ve spent an extensive amount of time harnessing all kinds of skills I use regularly to get your portraits to the finalized products you see.
One of those is the Clone Tool. With it, we are able to blend away stretch marks or bumps or cellulite or blemishes and any other thing you may not want in the portrait. My cardinal rule is that we photograph you as we would want to be photographed, and that includes editing.
I love what my body has endured. I love what my body has created, what it’s allowed me to accomplish, and how it’s adapted every time a challenge or opportunity has come along. It doesn’t mean I don’t wish my skin was smoother or without pimples or hid stretch marks that cover the places that have accommodated all of the everything’s.
Ultimately, I’m telling you to cut it out. You’re absolutely gorgeous; and it’s not simply because of your skin. It’s because of all that you have been, all you want to be, everywhere you’re going, and all of the experiences you’ve had. We want you to leave feeling empowered and confident and bold. We also want you to know that we want you in our lives forever. You don’t just get a few moments of feeling pampered, you get the entire tribe.
