Welcome! I’m John Biswell. I attended classes at Portland School of Art (now MECCA) and began tattooing in 1993. My work is heavily influenced by both ukiyo-e prints and american folk art. I often draw compositions directly on the body to create flow and to harness the creative energy of the process. My understanding of color and form enable me to create the art you see here.
