I live in Maine with my Husband, Jacob, while advocating for my son, Thomas, and the rhythms of a life we’ve worked hard to build with care. We grow what we can, nurture what we love, and stay close to the land when we can. We take care of each other. Our home is full of lists, laughter, stillness, healing, and intention. I don’t separate my personal life from my values. How I love and how I lead are built from the same place.

I’m composed, but not cold. Romantic, but not idealistic. I believe in excellence, in precision, and in the power of doing things well; not to impress, but to reflect the respect I have for the work and the people who trust me with it. I hold very high standards for how I show up, and I carry that through every decision I make. I believe how I handle stress, challenge, and misalignment says more about me than any accolade ever could.

Yes. More than I speak about publicly. I’ve rebuilt my life more than once. I’ve had seasons where survival took everything I had. I’ve been silenced, underestimated, lied about, and walked through fire that no one applauded me for surviving. But I do not live from those places, I carry them, learn from them, and use them to guide others more responsibly. I lead from experience, not ego.

I used to. But I don’t shrink for comfort anymore. I’m sensitive, intuitive, fiercely protective, and I feel deeply; that’s part of why my work resonates. I’ve learned that being “too much” just means someone else wasn’t prepared for the depth I hold. That’s not mine to carry.

Morning light. My son’s laugh. Writing. The garden. Jacob’s steadiness. Hard conversations done well. People who mean what they say. Rituals that make life feel sacred. Integrity. Slowness. The decision to return to myself over and over again, even when the world tries to pull me away.

No. I will meet you where you are. You don’t need to be polished, confident, or ready. You just need to be willing. I don’t photograph or guide people because they’re easy, I do it because they’re worthy. And I will never treat you like a burden or a brand. You are a person first. Always.

Dishonesty. Gossip. Entitlement. People who treat others as expendable. I will always be kind, but I will also be clear. I value truth over performance, resolution over avoidance, and people who take responsibility for their impact. I do not confuse popularity with integrity. Fondness is not my goal, respect is.

Precision. Thoughtfulness. Weathered wood. Well-written sentences. Women who tell the truth even when their voice shakes. Fields right before dusk. People who see what needs to be done and do it without asking to be praised. Order—not to control, but to preserve peace. Intimacy that feels safe. Unexpected generosity. Vows whispered, not performed. Honesty in silence. Beauty that isn’t trying to sell something.

Chaos for the sake of attention. People who harm with charm. Wastefulness. Vague communication. Noise without meaning. Selfishness disguised as ambition. Passive aggression. The dismissal of nuance. Sloppiness passed off as creativity. People who mistake softness for weakness or boundaries for hostility.

Telling the truth without asking for forgiveness afterward. Creating space where someone feels safe enough to be seen. Documenting something that will outlive the moment. Preparing a meal with intention. A look between two people that says more than any caption. Protecting someone else’s story as if it were your own. A quiet drive with a clear sky and nowhere urgent to be.

The ones who don’t need to be convinced they matter, but are still learning how to believe it. The ones who care about their impact. Who love deeply, even when it’s risky. Who ask good questions. Who cry when something beautiful happens. Who honor the details. Who don’t need to perform for me.

Yes. I photograph couples for engagements, anniversaries, and lifestyle sessions rooted in truth, connection, and care. I also photograph women; whether in celebration, transition, healing, or personal reclamation.

What I do not photograph are couples in explicitly sexual poses or scenarios. If it’s not appropriate for a public park or family setting, it’s not aligned with my work.

I also do not photograph or support sessions that involve infidelity. If you disclose that your session is connected to an affair, you’ve asked me to become complicit in something that directly violates my ethical boundaries. I won’t do that. Our appointment will end and our agreement voided.

My work is about integrity, intimacy, and legacy, and all three require truth.

I’m open to working with associates, but not in the traditional sense. I don’t hire for convenience or volume, I invest in people who hold the same level of care, artistry, and responsibility that this work requires.
