Maine Maternity Photography
This is not just a portrait session— this is legacy.
Motherhood portraits in Maine… and everywhere!
My work exists to preserve the milestones of pregnancy, motherhood, and the many years to follow.
It is in these chapters of your life that demand grace and intention, and I reciprocate that with reverence.
My approach to maternity and motherhood portraiture is rooted from my background in behavioral science. Observation, understanding, intention, and my experienced-discernment allow for editorial-level detail, with a documentary-style execution. Every experience is designed to be unique, and a wholly authentic preservation of your story.
These portraits are not about perfection, they are about presence, and permanence. They’re designed to live on walls, in albums, and in the visual memory of your family, passed down, recognized, and cherished over decades.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Most women schedule their maternity session between 28 and 34 weeks, when their bodies have clearly transitioned but still feel supported and mobile.
That said, timing is not a rule, it’s a conversation-starter. I consider how you carry pregnancy, your energy levels, and the kind of imagery we’re creating.
-
No. Most people aren’t, and that’s okay. You show up, and I’ll do the rest.
You don’t need to know how to pose or perform. I give clear direction and keep things simple. My job is to handle the visual decisions like posing and styling, so you don’t have to think about them.
-
Yes, and with a fine-toothed comb — individually, and personally; delivering you a polished, refined, and authentically beautifully portrait of you and your loved ones.
Temporary happenings like blemishes and bruises are always retouched unless noted otherwise.
My goal is to ensure your images would look incredible, front and center on the walls of your enemy's home… theoretically, of course.
-
Yes, of course!
Some sessions focus only on you, and others include partners or children.
There’s no requirement either way. We decide ahead of time so the session flows smoothly, and you feel honored.

Earlier than you think.
Most maternity and newborn photographers book out weeks or months in advance, especially for due-date-based scheduling. Many clients book maternity and newborn sessions at the same time to ensure availability and visual consistency.
Booking early doesn’t lock you into exact dates, it holds space around your due window.
-
This is normal and expected.
Newborn sessions are scheduled based on a flexible due-date window, not a fixed calendar date. Once the baby arrives, you’ll reach out and we’ll finalize the session timing. Early or late arrivals are built into the process.
-
Yes. There are never hidden fees, nor will you ever have to sit through a private ordering session.
I offer packages that come with a set number of digital images, as well as packages that include copies of all digital imagery.
All finalized images will be placed into an online gallery where you can choose which images you’d like to download and have personal rights to.
Images not chosen for download will remain in your gallery with a small watermark on them. You may purchase digital copies of one or all images at anytime. Your gallery will remain live and active for the life of my business.
