Fort Williams Family Mini Sessions | June 14, 2025

$250.00

Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Cape Elizabeth, Maine | $250

Held at Historical Fort Williams Park

Join me for a one-day portrait event set within the scenic beauty of Fort Williams Park in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. These sessions are designed for families who appreciate natural light, coastal textures, and portraits that feel genuine and lasting.

Each 20-minute session includes full guidance, location-specific direction, and a private proofing gallery where you’ll choose your seven final, retouched images. Additional images and heirloom artwork are available to purchase at any time. These sessions are a perfect fit for families seeking a relaxed, artful experience in a setting that offers both open space and timeless Maine charm.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll be guided through simple, natural movements that focus on connection over perfection. Sessions are paced to accommodate children and family dynamics, with attention to lighting, expression, and genuine interaction. These are portraits that reflect real presence, not posed performances.

$250 SERVICE PACKAGE

20-minute session
7 final, retouched portraits of your choosing
One household per session
Five signature poses
Friendly, Leashed Dogs are Encouraged to Attend
Option to purchase additional images at any time
Nightstand Albums (linen or leather) available à la carte for $175

Additional outfits or expanded variety available by booking a second appointment or arranging a custom package

Sessions are scheduled back-to-back; punctuality is essential

LOCATION & SETTING

Fort Williams Park offers everything from windswept rocky shores and soft woodland paths to historic stone ruins and distant lighthouse views. The textures are raw and organic. The light is dynamic and warm. Your family will be photographed with intentional placement to ensure a balanced backdrop that enhances, rather than distracts.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS & POLICIES

For Families, Children, or Individual Professionals
All appointments require a pre-session consultation with me via Google Meet, scheduled after booking
Appointments are non-refundable but may be transferred or gifted with notice
By purchasing, guests agree to all studio terms and policies
Your imagery will never be shared or used in marketing unless you offer written consent after receiving your final gallery

WHAT TO WEAR

Choose natural fibers and textures that move easily and feel lived-in. Think linen, cotton, knits, and layers. Muted tones, earth colors, and soft palettes tend to photograph beautifully against the coastal and wooded environment. Avoid fluorescent tones, logos, or highly patterned clothing. The goal is cohesion without rigidity—your presence should lead, not your wardrobe.

Avoid fluorescent colors, heavy graphics, or large patterns. These can distract from your expression and overwhelm the softness of the scene. Instead, lean into cotton, linen, knits, and layers that move gently and feel lived in.

For little ones, dresses, overalls, or simple pieces in muted colors tend to photograph best. Small details like a favorite hair bow, family heirloom accessory, or simple necklace can add just the right touch of personality without competing for attention.

If you're unsure what photographs best, we can review options together during your pre-session consultation.

The goal is not to match perfectly.
It is to complement the setting, feel comfortable in your skin, and let the emotion lead the image

—————————————

Reserve your session and let’s photograph something you’ll want to remember.

Appointments are limited and will not be repeated.

Rebecca’s B|A Recommendations & Policies:

  • Should you want more time, to change outfits, or to accommodate a larger group of participants, I recommend purchasing a minimum of TWO appointments.

  • Steer clear of fluorescent colors, bright patterns; think creamy, bold, and layered, textures!

  • I LOVE texture, I LOVE layers, and I LOVE jewelry and small details. Blankets are always nice to snuggle into/onto, and I find it utterly darling when littles bring their favorite stuffed toy, doll, or parallel. Otherwise, leave the “props” at home; my focus is targeted on connection, not trinkets or material things. I highly recommend wearing velvets, laces, knits, and rich colors.

  • All monies submitted are non-refundable. Time may be altered if availability allows, sessions may also be transferable simply email info@beauxandarrows.com with any questions before purchasing. Should your appointment time need to be altered due to system errors or other, written notice will be promptly delivered and remedied as close to your original time as possible.

  • Rain-dates are presented under weather or health related obstacles that would either jeopardize child-tolerances or cause damage to equipment. Additionally, it is your responsibility to dress appropriately for the weather; cold noses make for unhappy faces and do NOT photograph well.

  • Your appointments are respected by NDA’s. No imagery will be used for marketing content without expressed consent, and never requested.

  • The only photographer obligated to your appointment is the one designated within the mini session booking reservation.

  • Appointments are scheduled & offered back-to-back. If you arrive late to your appointment, the time will be forfeited. If we are able to relocate your appointment or offer partial of your existing, we work our hardest to do so but we are not obligated to do so.
