LOCATION & SETTING

The light is dynamic and warm. Your family will be photographed with intentional placement to ensure a balanced backdrop that enhances, rather than distracts.

WHAT TO WEAR
Choose natural fibers and textures that move easily and feel lived-in. Think linen, cotton, knits, and layers. Muted tones, earth colors, and soft palettes tend to photograph beautifully against the coastal and wooded environment. Avoid fluorescent tones, logos, or highly patterned clothing. The goal is cohesion without rigidity—your presence should lead, not your wardrobe.
Avoid fluorescent colors, heavy graphics, or large patterns. These can distract from your expression and overwhelm the softness of the scene. Instead, lean into cotton, linen, knits, and layers that move gently and feel lived in.
For little ones, dresses, overalls, or simple pieces in muted colors tend to photograph best. Small details like a favorite hair bow, family heirloom accessory, or simple necklace can add just the right touch of personality without competing for attention.
If you're unsure what photographs best, we can review options together during your pre-session consultation.
The goal is not to match perfectly.
It is to complement the setting, feel comfortable in your skin, and let the emotion lead the image
—————————————
Reserve your session and let’s photograph something you’ll want to remember.
Appointments are limited and will not be repeated.

Rebecca’s B|A Recommendations & Policies:
Should you want more time, to change outfits, or to accommodate a larger group of participants, I recommend purchasing a minimum of TWO appointments.
Steer clear of fluorescent colors, bright patterns; think creamy, bold, and layered, textures!
I LOVE texture, I LOVE layers, and I LOVE jewelry and small details. Blankets are always nice to snuggle into/onto, and I find it utterly darling when littles bring their favorite stuffed toy, doll, or parallel. Otherwise, leave the “props” at home; my focus is targeted on connection, not trinkets or material things. I highly recommend wearing velvets, laces, knits, and rich colors.
All monies submitted are non-refundable. Time may be altered if availability allows, sessions may also be transferable simply email info@beauxandarrows.com with any questions before purchasing. Should your appointment time need to be altered due to system errors or other, written notice will be promptly delivered and remedied as close to your original time as possible.
Rain-dates are presented under weather or health related obstacles that would either jeopardize child-tolerances or cause damage to equipment. Additionally, it is your responsibility to dress appropriately for the weather; cold noses make for unhappy faces and do NOT photograph well.
Your appointments are respected by NDA’s. No imagery will be used for marketing content without expressed consent, and never requested.
The only photographer obligated to your appointment is the one designated within the mini session booking reservation.
Appointments are scheduled & offered back-to-back. If you arrive late to your appointment, the time will be forfeited. If we are able to relocate your appointment or offer partial of your existing, we work our hardest to do so but we are not obligated to do so.
